Dear Friend of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School,
Our Principal Search Committee, the Superintendent of Catholic Schools (Fr. Belmonte, SJ, StL, PhD), the Diocese of Joliet Catholic Schools Office and I are working closely together to find an excellent candidate who will serve as the next distinguished leader of our school. The purpose of this letter is to outline search actions to date and to request that you offer valuable input to the search process by prayerfully responding to a brief online survey.
The search process formally began on April 12, 2019. At that time, Karen Udell, Catholic Schools Office Assistant Superintendent of Leadership and Personnel, posted the principal position on the Diocese of Joliet Frontline Applicant Tracking System. Mrs. Udell and her Catholic Schools Office team are currently in the process of conducting preliminary interviews of several highly qualified candidates for this position.
One critical aspect of the principal search involves eliciting the ideas of faculty and staff members, parents, and parishioners regarding leadership qualities that are necessary to address the present and future needs of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School. To accomplish this task, the Catholic Schools Office has designed an online community survey instrument. The results of this survey will be carefully studied by the Search Committee and will be used both to create a
Principal Profile and to design first and second-round interview questions.
You are an important member of our school and parish family. I encourage you to share your thoughts regarding desired principal attributes by responding to this survey that may be accessed by clicking on the link below. If you experience difficulties in directly accessing this link, please copy and paste the URL address below into your browser.
Completing this survey will require seven to ten minutes of your time. The survey will be posted from
Wednesday, April 24th through Wednesday, May 8th. Thank you in advance for your support as I begin the process of prayerfully discerning the next spiritual and instructional leader of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School. With every best wish and prayer,
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Rev. John Klein Pasto, St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Parish
