St. Paul School Junior High students receive a rigorous faith based curriculum focusing on science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM), and language arts. Our students learn independently, in small groups, and through whole class instruction. We teach concepts through themes, and project based learning to promote grade appropriate understanding and critical thinking. Junior High students will participate in the Illinois Science Fair, Geography Bee and Spelling Bee, providing them with the opportunity to continue on past our school competition to compete at the state level. Students in the Junior High grades have technology integrated in every subject and assignment from their classroom and home, with 1:1 Chromebooks.
Students at St. Paul's will know Jesus Christ! He is the foundation of every academic grade level where children will explore and learn about His love and salvation. We incorporate our Catholic faith and prayers into daily routines, use Bible stories as a way to bring to life the concepts of creation, thanksgiving, love, and faith, and practice virtuous behaviors, manners, kind speech, and loving actions. Your child will continue to develop their personal relationship with Jesus Christ, as they excel and mature socially, emotionally, and academically.
