Mrs. Papesh began her career with the diocese in 2012. She began at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School that same year as a substitute teacher and paraprofessional. Her job responsibilities have increased tenfold from when she started in the diocese. Mrs. Papesh has worked with students ranging from grades preschool through eighth grade. She is a loving and kindhearted teacher who loves her students like her own.
Mrs. Papesh has an associate degree in Applied Science and Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and holds an Illinois Substitute Teachers license.
She was lucky enough to send her two daughters to St. Paul’s where they graduated knowing and loving God and keeping their faith by attending the University of Dayton which is a Marianist University. Mrs. Papesh has been married to her husband, Chris, for over 25 years.
Mrs. Papesh has been a parishioner at Saint Mary’s Church in Minooka since 1996. Before joining the staff at St. Paul, Mrs. Papesh’s roles within the school community were of Home and School President, Chairperson of Fun Lunch, Chairperson of the school wide major fundraiser and volunteered at lunch duty and worked on any other committees that needed assistance. She chooses to continue her work at St. Paul’s because she believes teaching children is an honor to God’s Truth, Beauty and Goodness.
