Mrs. Chin has worked as an Early Childhood Educator in the Diocese of Joliet since 2001. She spent the first 7 years of her career at St. Patrick School before making the move to St. Paul the Apostle where she has taught Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten for the past 16 years. Mrs. Chin is the Co-Advisor for the school’s very popular Craft Club.
She was raised in a devout Catholic family and attended Catholic School throughout her elementary years.
She graduated from the University of St. Francis in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in English, Science, and Special Education. She also has additional coursework in Early Childhood Development and Education. She has acted as a mentor to several University students, as well as first-year teachers.
Mrs. Chin has dedicated her life to the Catholic faith and is honored to share that faith with her students each day. She has had the honor of teaching several hundred young children about God’s love and looks forward to many more years of service to Catholic education.
