At St. Paul School, we understand the sacrifice it is when you choose to make catholic school a priority. We beleive the benefits outweigh the tuition, but don't just take our word for it. Hear for yourself, what an Alumna and StP teacher has to say.
"My journey, here, at St. Paul’s has really come full circle in a way that I never imagined when I was sitting in the classrooms here over 30 years ago. I attended St. Paul’s from preschool through 8th grade. During my time here, I played volleyball, basketball, co-ed volleyball and was a member of the cheerleading squad. Girl Scouts, student council and patrol were just a few of the activities I took part in.
As a kid, I liked going to school at St. Paul’s but I didn’t fully appreciate everything the school gave me until I had children of my own. It is the closest community I have ever been a part of. I still remember specific things I was taught. I have teachers who have gone out of their way at different points in mine and my classmates lives to keep in touch with me and numerous other students. My parents have been life long friends with other St. Paul parents who are now considered family in our lives. This community is the reason, after teaching in public school for 17 years, I have made the best decision in my career to answer the call to teach faith formation.
A Catholic school education was the best gift my parents ever gave me. St. Paul’s gave me the strong foundation I needed to succeed at JCA, which I built on in order to succeed in college, graduate school at both Lewis University and St. Ambrose, my career and I like to think, life in general. I can trace my success, both academically and spiritually, all the way back to St. Paul’s .
After my husband and I were married here at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, and had children, we decided to send our kids to school at St. Paul’s starting in preschool. It has provided an environment for our family of education, faith, care, & safety. This community is the St. Paul School and Parish, as they are one. We are blessed to know so many great families that have the same goals as ours; to give our children the best education, faith, & thriving environment. Our St. Paul teachers, staff, and families are the key to this environment. The staff know most every child and family by name and take pride in ensuring a safe and loving environment that focuses not only on academics, but also in being good people, good in our thoughts, words and actions.
If your child currently attends St. Paul’s, they may not fully appreciate the sacrifices you make in sending them to school here now, but some day they will realize what you have given them. If your child doesn’t attend St. Paul’s, I urge you to consider giving them the greatest gift that you can - a strong educational and community foundation, which they can continue to build on in order to succeed in life.
We see this school as ours, our home and our family and we are proud to be Giants....
Come see Catholic Education brought to life!"
